About Zwölberich

Our estate dates back into 1711, when the first members of the Heintz family started wine-growing in Langenlonsheim, located near the river Nahe in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

Today, we grow about 30 different grape varieties across 33 hectare of vineyards, and are one of the oldest estates in Germany dedicated to organic wine-growing. Since the early 90’s we’re certified according to the high standards of Demeter, and an active member of the organic wine community. In 2017, our continous efforts for organic wines have been acknowledged by the appointment of Hartmut Heintz as a member of the board of directors of Demeter e.V., the german Demeter organization.

Our wines are regularly awarded in both national and international wine events and fairs, and are distributed world wide across Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Asia.
